This drawing is of a person breaking apart unleavened bread with their hands. In anticipation for Holy Week, I wanted to celebrate Passover and depict our unique Syro-Malabar tradition of breaking apart Pesaha Appam on Maundy Thursday.

In commemoration of the upcoming Earth Day, this art piece depicts a lush, healthy forest. I hoped to represent the type of healthy environment that we all strive to preserve by this piece. As Earth Day approaches, let us be mindful of the nature around us, and let us work towards keeping such sights alive, so that we may be able to enjoy them in the future.
